Your Day

Giverny is a picturesque village located in the Upper Normandy region of northern France. Known for its scenic beauty and idyllic setting, it's known as the place where painter Claude Monet lived and worked from 1883 until his death in 1926.

On this full-day excursion, you’ll travel to Giverny by train, round-trip from Paris. Once you're there, you will be able to visit Monet's house and garden.

The garden is spread over a hectare and laid out in color-themed borders. Wander through this famous setting decked with thousands of flowers - from tulips to irises, oriental poppies and peonies, all with the hues inspired Monet’s paintings.

The water gardens have a Japanese theme and include a replica of the Japanese bridge which featured in Monet’s well-known painting.

In addition to the gardens, you’ll also be able to visit Monet’s lovely and very colorful house. This is the house Monet stayed in while in Giverny and the place where he breathed his last.
