And it needs the absolute best of humanity to overcome.
"The city that never sleeps" is on lockdown, rendering its popular hotspots (like the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and Times Square) cold and empty! While the city follows strict lockdown measures to control the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, the livelihoods of many are impacted. Those who depended on trade for their daily bread are currently left wondering how to survive the uncertain future, which may well extend to weeks and months!

While our everyday lives are impacted by the spread of COVID-19, it is the isolated vulnerable groups among us that are most exposed and at direct risk. We want to do our bit to support them in these difficult times through this project. All contributions you make will go towards local initiatives and groups that are deeply rooted in the New York community and working on the front line to fight this menace.
