Your Experience

Begin your Christmas Day tour at the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury. Visit the town’s famed cathedral which boasts Britain’s tallest spire and dates back to 1220, and attend the Eucharist service here! Next, drive past Salisbury Plain and catch views of the iconic 5,000-year-old Stonehenge along the way. Break for a traditional Christmas lunch - a three-course meal with all the trimmings, plus a glass of wine to get you into the holiday spirit, and a coffee or tea to finish.

After lunch, make your way to Bath, known for – and named after – the historic Roman Bath. The city is brimming with Georgian architecture, beautiful streets, and loads of history. Walk across the Pulteney Bridge, which was modeled on Florence’s Ponte Vecchio – it is one of only four bridges in the world to have shops lining both sides. Stand at the location where the British monarchy was born - outside Bath Abbey, the church where the first British King was crowned in 973 AD.

End your tour with a stroll around Windsor at dusk. Spend a peaceful evening in a town that is overlooked by one of the Queen’s official residences, Windsor Castle. This opulent home is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world – it’s a postcard-perfect Christmas sight!
