Your Experience

Start off your Christmas Day with a drive through the lovely Kent countryside. After an idyllic journey through quiet roads, you’ll reach Canterbury Cathedral to attend the special Christmas “Sung Eucharist” service, most notable for the likely appearance by the Archbishop of Canterbury! After the service, feast on a traditional three-course Christmas lunch, accompanied by a glass of wine and a choice of tea or coffee to finish.

Following lunch, there is a photo stop by the famed White Cliffs of Dover. Apart from its striking views of the English Channel, these cliffs have earned a reputation for their use in defence purposes - the rugged coastline isn’t easy to navigate through for invading armies! If you’re a movie buff, you’ll recognise Dover Castle as the filming location for The Other Boleyn Girl.

From Dover, you will head back to London – all while driving past the charming London borough of Greenwich. Teeming with maritime history, Greenwich is home to some truly impressive buildings, including the Old Royal Naval College, which is considered to be one of Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpieces!
