James Graham’s all new stunner, INK, is here to take Broadway by storm after a sensational run in London last year. James Graham is an Englishman who is considered to be one of the finest and funniest playwrights in the country by The Financial Times. He has won critical acclaim for his politically driven dramas such as Privacy, which was transferred to the Public Theatre in New York from London. INK is directed by the renowned Rupert Goold, the artistic director of the Almeida Theatre, and features a star-studded cast consisting of Olivier Award winner Bertie Carvel and two-time Satellite Award nominee Jonny Lee Miller in the lead roles. This play, based on real-life events, has been called ‘riveting’ by The Guardian and ‘an incredibly brilliant stunner’ by Time Out.

The Story

The story revolves around the young and brash Rupert Murdoch who buys The Sun, a newspaper that is barely holding up. He has a vision to transform it into a daily must-read that will cause a complete shift in the way media is consumed around the world. He gets Larry Lamb, a rouge editor, to help him materialize his vision. Lamb, in turn, hires several underdog reporters and forms a rather unconvincing team. Together, the team is ready to do whatever it takes to become successful, as the race to make it to the top begins in earnest.
