While the Entopia Penang Butterfly Farm offers you a walk amidst a lush garden with countless beautifully-winged butterflies fluttering about you, the Tropical Spice Garden is nothing short of a museum that houses a wide array of tropical plants and spices.
Entopia Penang Butterfly Farm
While at the Butterfly Farm, you will find that its design is similar to the iconic Singapore Flower Dome but sports a huge vertical garden which is the largest in Malaysia. Divided into two sections, one of them is the Cocoon, a “discovery center” mainly aimed at young ones to help them learn about the lifecycle and types of butterfly eggs. The other section is called Natureland and is a glasshouse with artificial trails, gardens, and caves where you can look at reptiles, critters, amphibians, and more.
Tropical Spice Garden
Over at the Tropical Spice Garden, you will find over 500 species of tropical plants, spices, and herbs. This eco-attraction comes complete with natural streams, dense hills, and meandering trails that will give you a true taste of the wilderness.
