Het kostte wat moeite om via Headout kaartjes te reserveren, maar het was de moeite waard. Het was een ongelooflijk uitzicht vanaf een ongelooflijk gebouw. Daarnaast was het kunstmuseum ook erg mooi. Prachtige (relatief) hedendaagse boeddhistische kunstwerken, met een 3D-film als inleiding.

De strakke lijnen van de gebouwen, de ervaring van de liften die de twee gebouwen met elkaar verbinden en de mogelijkheid om boven naar buiten te lopen waren allemaal hoogtepunten in die reis.

Het gebouw, het uitzicht, het museum en de expositie, maar ik deed er lang over om twee keer van het observatorium naar het museum te gaan om mijn kaartje in te wisselen, wat alleen mogelijk was bij het museum waarvan de suppoost me vertelde dat het al dicht was, maar dat was niet zo.

Enjoy a panoramic view of the port city of Osaka from the Kuchu Teien Observatory Deck. Take in the mesmerizing views as you walk through the gallery, perfect for a photo-op. The “Kuchu Teien Observatory of the Umeda Sky Building” is a landmark of Umeda, Osaka, and an observatory facility comprising 3 floors (39th, 40th, rooftop). In addition, another popular photo spot is its see-through escalator that goes from the 35th to the 39th floor. Inside the observatory deck on the 40th floor is a 35-meter-long glass counter where visitors can enjoy some tea while feeling as if they are floating in the sky. In addition, there is a 360-degree open-air view from the rooftop observatory floor that anyone would find incredible in any season and at any time of day.

Take a gander at the magnificent architecture of this building. This building consists of two 40-story towers connected to each other from their uppermost stories. Have a jolly good time as you complete your trip to Osaka witnessing the beautiful skyline of the commercial center of Honshu.
