STORY
Desmond Doss, the conscientious objector, won the Medal of Honor for incredible bravery that he displayed at the Battle of Okinawa. This movie is a true story based on these events.
The movie follows his life as we learn about his childhood and upbringing. We see what shaped his views and put him on his anti-killing stance. We also see his trials after enlisting in the US Army and trying to become a medic. Finally, we see Hell on Earth, Hacksaw Ridge.
