Get a close look at the past, present, and future of space exploration on your visit to the Kennedy Space Center! Say goodbye to speculations about space exploration as you take a look at the cutting-edge technology at the center and even encounter a real astronaut. You’ll even get to view movies, presentations, and exhibitions about various missions, space technology, and the like. As you arrive, your tour guide will give you a one-hour walking tour of the Visitors Complex. Listen closely as they tell you all about the fascinating history that made KSC a legendary site when it comes to space exploration.

After this, you’ll be taken on the signature Bus Tour which will take you all around the premises including the Vehicle Assembly Building, the Launch Complex 39B, and the iconic Apollo/Saturn V Center, where you can marvel at a recreation of the moon landing and a full-size Saturn V Rocket. Once you make your way back to the Visitors Complex, enjoy an immersive Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, as you watch a moving presentation of one of the four surviving astronauts. Get a rush of adrenalin as you ride the Shuttle Launch Experience, a simulator giving you a feeling of what it’s like to take off from the Space Center.

Remember all the heroes of the past as you walk around the Heroes & Legends Center, which includes the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame. You can also enjoy a big-screen movie experience at the IMAX Theater and finish up with a walk at the Rocket Garden.
