To the south of Puerto Vallarta lie the two typical fishing villages of Las Ánimas and Quimixto whose picturesque charm is truly a sight to behold, more so because they can only be reached by boat. Start your day out on the sea which provides a spectacular vantage point to observe enigmatic views of Puerto Vallarta. You will be accompanied by a guide who will relay the history of your surroundings, its gifted climate, and revered traditions.
Arrive at Los Arcos de Mismaloya, a mysterious and protected area. The rocks here have multiple tunnels, allowing you to observe their rocky formations in detail. It is also the perfect site to go snorkeling. Explore the beautiful blue-green-colored sea, as well as, colorful reefs and view a large diversity of marine species.
After this, two groups will be formed: one that remains in Las Ánimas and one that goes to Quimixto. People who depart to Quimixto will visit the city, a safe jungle territory, and a waterfall that can only be reached on foot or horseback (local providers provide this service). People in Las Ánimas can enjoy up to three hours of sun, sand, sea, and excellent restaurant service. When the group from Quimixto returns, people in Las Ánimas will board the boat featuring a national open bar and set sail to Quimixto. The tour will conclude and return to Puerto Vallarta after both the groups are done with lunch and quality exploration (games, raffles, dances, and a great party atmosphere is guaranteed on the trip).
