Fisherman’s Friends: The Musical

Rated 4.8 out of 5.0 from 42 reviews.
fisherman’s friends: the musical-1

The Cornish fishermen who stole the stage (and hearts) in August 2021 with their traditional sea shanties and riveting performances are back in a brand-new musical showing at The Lowry, Manchester.

why watch fisherman’s friends: the musical

First premiering in Aug 2021 in Cornwall, this nautical-themed musical about a group of Cornish fishermen singing traditional sea shanties took the stage (and critics) by storm.

As the fishermen meet a music manager who’s come down from London on a trip, they teach him about how enriching music, friendship, belonging, and community can be rather than selling your soul for the spotlight. With stellar performances in a new musical format and even more songs, this toe-tapping and feel-good extravaganza will touch hearts everywhere.

This chart-topping musical runs for a limited period between 27 Sept to 1 Oct 2022 at The Lowry, Manchester.
