Reno Sweeney is a nightclub singer/evangelist who is en route from New York to England aboard the ocean liner, S.S. American. Her friend Billy Crocker is a stowaway who is trying to be near his love, Hope Harcourt. The only problem is that Hope is engaged to the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. To add to this confusion, you have Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martin, and his partner-in-crime, Erma onboard too. Using complex disguises, tap-dancing sailors, and even some blackmail, Reno and Martin get together to help Billy in his quest of winning Hope’s heart.
Anything Goes is a Cole Porter and PG Wodehouse hit musical that first debuted back in 1934 on Broadway, before opening on the West End. It has gone through many revivals - including one by Kathleen Marshall, who directed and choreographed it in 2011. She is back once again with a brand new version of the show, along with set designer Derek McLane, lighting designer Neil Austin, sound designer Simon Baker and musical supervisor Stephen Ridley. Featuring catchy musical numbers like You're the Top, It's De-Lovely, and I Get A Kick Out of You, the musical pushes all the right buttons for an unforgettable theatrical experience.
