Board an air-conditioned bus and set out to discover the stunning Loire Valley! Watch lovely landscapes, long green fields, and the River Loire roll past you. Your expert English-speaking tour guide will fill you in on the details about the monuments you're about to see. First at Château de Chenonceau, notice the architectural confluence of early Renaissance and late Gothic styles. It is known as 'the château of ladies' because it was maintained by several women through the centuries. The building seems to spring out of the water giving a very magical feel to the entire place.
You'll then have an hour to squeeze in lunch (at your own expense during summers) and soak in the majestic aura of Loire before heading on to your next stop, the Château de Chambord. This is one of the most iconic châteaux in the world, with a very distinct architecture from the French Renaissance. It is the biggest castle in the Loire Valley and was used as a royal residence. Explore the several rooms in the castle and finally climb the famous double helix staircase which leads to a lovely terrace.
Finally, your tour ends with a spirited wine tasting session within the Château. You don't want to miss out on experiencing the flavors of the legendary Loire wines while in this remarkable valley!
