The tour will start from Athens and will take you along the south coast towards the Athens Riviera. You will travel in a premium air-conditioned bus, as you take in the beautiful scenery on the journey. An English speaking guide and escort will accompany your group, giving you a great deal of insight into the area. You will soon reach the Sounion, and be dazzled by the spectacular landscape around you. The Sounion is one of the prominent areas mentioned in Homer’s epic Odyssey. In ancient Greece, the area was a sacred ground dedicated to Athena and Poseidon.

You can see the marvelous Temple of Poseidon perched on the edge of a cliff, 70 meters above water level. Entry to the attraction isn’t included in this tour, although you can choose to explore it yourself.

Gaze across the Aegean Sea from the cliff, where legend says King Aegeus threw himself off. Your guide will talk about the story behind Aegeus throwing himself off the cliff, while also talking about the significance of the area and its history. You can catch a breathtaking sunset over the sea, which is perfect for some memorable photos.

Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. We got some great photos, but unfortunately for us it was cloudy for actual sunset time. Overall a great tour though. Thanks

Overall the tour was adequate and did what the description said it will do. However, there were confusions about my pick up point and caused some issues. The bus was also not equipped with an air conditioning system capable of dealing with the Athens heat, resulting in a less than pleasant journey to the site

First the bus went out 30 min after time. So we got just enough time at Sunion. Second your info on your website should be more clear on what isent included. Several on the bus thought tickets to the temple and food and drinks where included. You should write like this: "Tickets to the Poseidon temple is not included and must be bought at the venue. Food and drinks can be bought at the cafe at Cape Sunion".
