Kew Gardens

Far from the madding London crowds, the Kew Gardens grant you a unique opportunity to relax and unwind. Take in deep lungfuls of the fresh air and stroll through the many different attractions of the Gardens, such as the Temperate House, which is the largest Victorian glasshouse in the world and hosts some of the rarest and most vulnerable temperate zone plants from all over the world. You can also see the Temperate Gardens, the orangery with its sweet-smelling citrus trees, the classical brick Kew Palace, and the 18-meter high Treetop Walkway. The Kew Gardens also boasts of two different art galleries, the Marianne North Gallery which displays art from around the world, and the Shirley Sherwood which contains botanical art. There is something for everyone in these beautiful gardens.

You can also explore the Secret World of Plants 1 May (Sat) - 19 Sept (Sun), and the life and culture at the Japan 2 Oct (Sat) - 31 Oct (Sun) exhibitions while at the Gardens.

SEA LIFE London Aquarium

Discover the wonderful marine lives that are sheltered at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, located in the heart of London. Explore the eight different aquarium zones and say hello to the animals that inhabit them.

Brave the depths of the Pacific before making your way through a rainforest. Admire sparkling silver shoals and meet the Common Octopus, or observe curious ray gracefully glide as you eye them. Brrr-ace yourself for the chills and thrills as you journey across an icy landscape and see how a colony of adorable Gentoo Penguins live out their lives.   • Sat and Sun: 10 AM to 8 PM (last entry at 7 PM)
  • Note: Kew Gardens closes at *4:30 PM on 2 Jun; and 5 PM on 10 & 16 Jun

Closures and Notices

  • Climbers and Creepers is closed
  • The Kew Explorer is not currently running
  • The Treetop Walkway is closed
  • The Badger Sett in the Natural Area is closed
  • Treehouse Towers has been closed for renovations
  • During adverse weather conditions, the upper level of The Hive may have to be closed

  • Thu: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Last admission is at 3:45 PM and guests are requested to leave the attraction by 5:00 PM

Important Information

Kew Gardens

  • All visitors to Kew Gardens aged 16 and over are requested to check-in using the NHS COVID-19 app upon arrival
  • This tour will operate every hour from 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM with 10 guests per time slot for safety reasons
  • Guests must arrive 45 min prior to their time slot to enter hassle-free
  • There will be a limited amount of walk-up tickets available on the day. Walk-up Orchids tickets can be collected directly from the Princess of Wales Conservatory and will be subject to availability and queueing
  • This experience is wheelchair accessible

SEA LIFE London Aquarium

  • If you can present the correct documentation along with your ticket you will receive a free carer ticket
  • SEA LIFE is fully accessible for all differently-abled guests - there is a ramp at the entrance and lifts throughout the attraction. All toilets have disabled access
  • Assistance dogs are permitted
  • There is O2 WiFi available. Connect when inside the aquarium and sign up for free
  • There is no café or restaurant within the aquarium but there are vending machines and Polar Point Refreshments during peak times for visitors to buy food
  • On average it will take you 1.5 to 2 hours to enjoy the full experience of SEA LIFE London. Comfortable shoes are recommended to make the best of your experience
