Timings

The Supertree Observatory is open on all days of the week from 4 PM to 9 PM.

Best time to visit:

Tourist crowds generally thin out by late June. July and August are some of the best months to visit Singapore. Watching the Singapore skyline light up during the late evenings is a mesmerizing sight. 6 PM to 7 PM is a good time to visit Supertree Observatory.

How To Get To Supertree Observatory

How to get there:

• By Metro: Get off at Bayfront MRT Stations and take Exit B. You can follow the underground linkway that leads to Dragonfly Bridge. Gardens by the Bay is a short walk from here.

• By Bus: Get off at Tanjong Pagar MRT Station and take bus 400. You can alight directly at Marina Gardens Drive.

• By Car: Head to Sheares Avenue from Ophir Road and take the exit onto Marina Boulevard. You will just need to turn left onto Marina Gardens Drive and follow the road to Gardens by the Bay.

• Parking: Paid motorcycle and car parking are available daily at the Main Entrance, The Meadow, Satay by the Bay, and Bayfront Plaza.

Things To Do Near Supertree Observatory

Floral Fantasy

Gardens by the Bay has several incredible attractions besides the Supertree Observatory. The Floral Fantasy is a brilliantly organized exhibition consisting of over 3000 plants of 150+ species from habitats across the world. Floral Fantasy is divided into four unique zones - Dance, Float, Waltz, and Drift. ‘Dance’ features gently swaying flowering plants that are suspended from above.

‘Drift’ has intriguing plants that generally grow in cave-like and semi-enclosed spaces where there is little or no lighting. ‘Waltz’ and ‘Float’ have an amazing array of freshwater plants that grow alongside streams and waterfalls. You might even be able to spot the colorful Poison Dart Frog inside the Waltz zone! If you are looking for a thrilling experience, the Flight of the Dragonfly 4D Ride is certainly worth trying.

Merlion

Considered the official mascot of Singapore, Merlion has held an important place in Singaporean culture for decades. The statue of this mythical creature has the body of a fish and the head of a lion. The Merlion Park is a mere 15-minute walk from the Gardens by the Bay. There are two Merlion statues inside the park. The larger statue is 8.6 meters tall and spouts a jet of water through its mouth. The smaller Merlion ‘cub’ is just 2 meters tall.
