Your Experience

When you think of the fauna of Australia you might picture koalas, kangaroos, and platypus all lazing under the warm sun. Well, on this tour, get to explore them all and much more! This tour allows you to truly walk on the wild side with a visit to the Healesville Sanctuary and admission to the world-famous Penguin Parade on Phillip Island.

To start with, you will be picked up from your accommodation and dropped off at the Healesville Sanctuary to start your tour. Here, you will have ample time to explore various species of birds and animals, most of which are unique to the continent. You can also absorb and learn more about the fauna around you through lessons and live shows and treat yourself to some lunch (at additional cost) when you feel the hunger pangs kick in.

Head over to Phillip Island for the next part of your tour where you will be greeted by some of the most picturesque sights on Point Grant, also known as The Nobbies. Here, you can stroll on the Broadwalk, visit the Nobbies Blowhole and, of course, enjoy the much anticipated Penguin Parade. During the Penguin Parade, get to see them emerge from the waves and waddle their way to the burrows. Finally, before being dropped back off at CBD, you can also enjoy dinner (at an additional cost) on the Island.

The Healesville Sanctuary is pram/stroller and wheelchair accessible; wheelchairs are also available for hire for which a photographic ID is required.
It is recommended to bring along your sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, camera, water bottle, and umbrella if rain is forecast.
It's recommended to wear warm clothes.
Children aged 4 and above are permitted on this tour.

Assistance animals are allowed except at the kangaroo walk-through, Koala Forest, all walk-through aviaries, flight arena shows, and close-up encounters.
