Then, head to St. Peter’s church, the oldest functioning Roman Catholic Church in Malaysia, followed by the Dutch Square. Experience the local culture of Malacca through its historical buildings, including Christ Church, Queen Victoria Fountain, and Chinatown on Jonker Street.
Shop to your heart’s content at Jonker Street before heading on to Harmony Street and Millionaire street which is home to many beautiful temples with Chinese and Hindu influences and a Malay mosque. Visit the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, St. Paul’s Hill ruins, and A'Famosa Porto de Santiago. A'Famosa Porto de Santiago is a remnant of European culture in Asia. It is the gatehouse remains of a Portuguese fortress.
