    Þórsmörk is a valley hidden between two glaciers, and it is considered the Hiker’s paradise because of the untouched natural beauty that people can find here. On the way to the trek, you can explore caves and the famous volcano huts. At Þórsmörk, there are several trails that are popular among the locals and you can go along any of them to explore. The time you will spend at Þórsmörk is yours alone, and what you experience there will stay with you forever.

    Once you board the bus, you will be taken first to Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you can explore a cave behind the falls. After the bus picks up everyone, you will be taken to Þórsmörk. There are three destinations in Þórsmörk that you can explore: “Stakkholtsgjá” canyon, “Básar” and by the Volcano huts in “Húsadalur”. You will have 6 hours in total to explore the valleys, after which you will need to return to the bus to go back to Reykjavik.

    General

    • You can board the bus at Selfoss”, “Hella” or “Hvolsvöllur” where you can park you rental cars.
    • Don’t forget you camera!

    Timings
    Departure time – 7:10am for Reykjavik Campsite & 7:30am from Harpa Concert Hall You will return to Reykjavik sometime around 10pm (this is valid from 20th June to September 9th) Duration – 15.5 hours

    Dress Code
    Wear warm clothes and good trekking boots. Ideally, wear waterproof outerwear. During winter, consider layering clothes to meet any unforeseen circumstances. You will need to bring gloves and headwear for safety against the cold. Wear clothes that allow you to move around comfortably.

    Getting There
    You will need to reach the Reykjavik Campsite or the Harpa Concert Hall 10 minutes before the bus departs.

    How To Use Your Tickets
    Soon after booking your ticket you will get a confirmation email with your mobile vouchers. Show these vouchers at the venue before joining the tour.

    Meeting Point
    The tour operator will pick you up from your place of accommodation and take you to the venue.

    Validity
    The tickets are valid for the day that is specified while booking.
