Visit Connemara, explore this wild, barren landscape, take in the beautiful sights of the lakes, mountains and the wild Atlantic. You will also be enthralled by the history, botany and geology that you will be introduced to by our guides. You also get a chance to explore Galway City.Come with us on this excursion to Ireland's west coast and back all in a day. For the duration of the trip, our guide will endeavour to educate you on the flora and fauna, history and the geology of the area. We will also try to answer any questions you might have. We believe this tour is a must for any visitor to Ireland.
We leave Dublin early, 6.30 am, to give ourselves as much time as possible in the beautiful Connemara national park and we aim to be back in Dublin around 7.00 after a full eventful day.
You will experience the magnificent views of Connemara provided by the dramatic landscape of the Twelve Bens and Maumturk mountain ranges on one side and the wild Atlantic Ocean on the other. We will bring you to areas of outstanding beauty and historical relevance. From feedback received from our guests, we guarantee that sights and experiences gleaned from this experience will remain with you for a long time!
Please Note: The Kilary harbour boat trip doesn't operate during the winter so as a substitute we provide a trip to a working sheep farm where you will be given a sheepdog exhibition and brought to a Bog to see Turf being cut. This has been an important provider of fuel to the Irish through the generations.

Your tour departs from The Suffolk Street Tourist Office (the one in the church) in Dublin City Centre.

We recommend you to bring warm clothing and comfortable shoes as some walking can be expected. Lunch is not included in the rate however you will be able to purchase food during the set free time.
