Carel Kraayenhof & Juan Pablo Dobal

Regarded as the most fascinating and all-round bandoneonist today, Carel Kraayenhof is a Dutch bandoneon player, composer and arranger. He has worked with some of the greatest names in classical music, such as Ennio Morricone and Joshua Bell, and with many noted orchestras including The London Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre National de Lyon and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. He began playing with Juan Pablo Dobal in 2011 and the two have since played both as soloists and as a duo. With their enchanting interpretations, unparalleled and amazing knowledge of the Argentine Tango, Kraayenhof and Dobal bring out the emotions in every audience around the world.

Hotel Victoria

Written by pianist Feliciano Latasa, Hotel Victoria is a tango dedicated to the Grand Hotel Victoria in Buenos Aires. Famous in the early 1900s, the Grand Hotel Victoria was the meeting point for the many musicians and artists trying to make it big in the city. The hotel was famously called a guiding light to the struggling, travelling musicians.
