By the end of this tour, you’ll have learnt the very best of Belgium through this interactive tour through its capital city, Brussels! Your tour guide will greet you at the designated meeting point, post-which you will board a comfortable bus and head towards Brussels. As you approach the capital city, your guide will take you first to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, one of the world’s 10 largest cathedrals, which began construction in 1905 and finally finished in 1965, two whole world wars later!
After this, you’ll head towards the EU Headquarters, and soak up sights of the Atomium, the Royal Palace, and the Congress Column! Be sure to admire the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Congress Column. Your guide will then take you through the famed city square, where you will find the stunning central square, the Grand Place, along with its legendary statue, Mannekepis. At the end of your tour, you’ll have some time to explore the city on your own. Grab some authentic Belgian beer or the famed Belgian waffles (of course, in Belgium, they’re just called beer and waffles).
