Let's Help Out Bangkok Rise from the COVID-19 Crisis!
The coronavirus pandemic is spreading rapidly and has claimed tens of thousands of lives across the world. As the devastation continues to unfold, it is clear to many of us that this event is more daunting than anything we have witnessed in our living memories. And it needs the absolute best of humanity to overcome.
The city of Bangkok has been celebrated as a haven for tourists who want to indulge in relaxing massages, good food, and its vibrant culture. Hotspots in the city such as the Grand Palace, Sampeng Lane Market, Bangkok Art and Culture center that are generally teeming with tourists are now in an eerie silence after the country declared a state of emergency to control the wild spread of coronavirus.
Many Bangkok nationals whose single source of income depended on tourism and related trades are in a state of despair with uncertainty looming large. They are barely sustaining on a day-to-day basis.
The Help Out Project - Bangkok
While our everyday lives are impacted by the spread of COVID-19, it is the isolated vulnerable groups among us that are most exposed and at direct risk. We want to do our bit to support them in these difficult times through this project. All contributions you make will go towards local initiatives and groups that are deeply rooted in the local community and working on the front line to fight this menace.
We urge you to join hands in our solidarity initiative!
