History and architecture buffs will love visiting the Uluwatu Temple, located at 70 meters above sea level. Apart from its scenic surroundings, it is said to be a spiritual pillar and one of the six key temples in Bali. Enjoy a deep-dive into its history led by a friendly local guide, before wandering the grounds at your own pace.
Before you leave the sacred temple site, make sure to go to the open-air amphitheater to catch the Kecak & Fire Dance. The performance is a mix of traditional Balinese song, dance, and storytelling coupled with an orchestra of human voices. Spend time here watching talented performers against a backdrop of the majestic sunset as the waves crash down below. It's sheer bliss!
