Start your after hours tour of the Catacombs of Rome at the Capuchin Crypt, better known as the “Bone Chapel” for the mortal remains of some 4,000 deceased monks that decorate its walls. The meeting point is located at in the center of Piazza Barberini, by the large Triton (Tritone) fountain.
Stops on this itinerary include religious sites, and attire must be appropriate for the visit. Both men and women are asked to wear clothing that covers at least the shoulders and knees. Failure to do so will result in denied entry.
Unfortunately, the local tour operator is unable to accommodate guests with mobility impairments, in wheelchairs or using strollers.
Photography is not allowed in the sites visited on this tour, due to their religious nature.

This was such an informative and eye opening tour. We went on a very hot day in Rome and were grateful when we descended into the cool Catacombs, our guide an English girl was very funny and informative she was a wealth of information it really does open your mind of how they lived then and the history behind it all, well worth the money.
