Pelléas et Mélisande by Sibelius
Scored for the opera by the same name, Jean Sibelius composed this piece in 1905. The piece comprises of 10 movements and is known for its subtlety of sound.
Violin Concerto by Sibelius
Written by Jean Sibelius in 1904, this is his only concerto. The violin writing in this piece is considered purely virtuosic with a lot of showmanship owing to its complicated and tight sequencing. The entire piece has three movements and is written in the classical style.
Symphony No 2. By Tchaikovsky
Composed in 1872 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, this composition is regarded as one of his most joyful scores. It is nicknamed the Little Russian due to its use of folk songs. The piece has 4 movements.
