He has opinions on everything from Brexit to LGBT movements. Through his dark comedy and humor, Pieter-Dirk has criticized the actions of the South African government. Pieter-Dirk’s performances are continuously evolving, and he rarely talks about the very same topics from one show to the next. Pieter-Dirk’s demeanor is such that you will feel as if you are having a chat with an old friend. He barely moves around much, and attempts to make the product appeal to the audience is minimal. Yet, his easy-going disposition and attitude are charming. The stage is filled with boxes, and the numerous props, such as hair, glasses, newspapers, and hats form the crux of the show. Impersonations abound, and you will be left grinning from ear to ear with his wonderful confluence of sketches and commentary. From emotional and endearing sketches about a man moving to a village as retirement to quick and witty sketches regarding some influential political figures, there is no doubt that you will feel a wide array of emotions wash over you!
