For a fun activity with the entire family, a visit to the Gold Coast Wax Museum is a great idea. Home to over 110 life-size wax figures, there's plenty to explore here. Head to the Famous People area to take selfies with Miley Cyrus, Kiley Minogue, and members of the Royal Family. Continue onwards to the Chamber of Horrors, where you will see spine-chilling depictions of torture techniques throughout history. Kids will enjoy exploring the Diorama area that features characters from Australian history and famous Nursery Rhymes. These pint-sized displays include Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill, and more! The Crown Jewels area has full-size copies of the British Crown Jewels. For those interested in the murkier side of history a visit to the Chamber of Horrors is a must! Learn how various torture techniques were used through history and think about the staggering record of human cruelty throughout the ages.
