Christmas is coming and it’s time to brighten up the dark nights of winter. London will be putting on a sparkling array of Christmas lights and it is the perfect opportunity to make up for lost time with your friends and family. Experience the festive cheer of the city from Marylebone High Street, Bond Street, and Carnaby Street to Seven Dials and Covent Garden. In fact, Regent Street and Oxford Street have been putting on these festive cheers from as far back in time as 1948 and 1959 respectively.
As tradition goes, we will be visiting Trafalgar Square, where each year since 1947 a Christmas tree felled by Norwegian foresters creates a grand setting in central London. You’ll also get to see River Thames by night - a truly magical experience espeically now with London’s latest public art installation ‘Illuminated River.’ Simply soak in the winter night festival in the company of an expert tour guide who is also a great storyteller of history culture, movie site trivia, ghosts, and secrets of the city!
