Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo, across the Nile River to the Giza Plateau. See the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure - three of Egypt's iconic monuments built during the lives of the ancient Pharaohs. Next, head to the Great Sphinx, and towards the Valley Temple, where priests worked to preserve and prepare the mummies of the kings for burial.
After lunch, your tour will take you to the Egyptian Museum, home to the largest collection of pharaonic antiquities in the world. See a rare collection of 5,000 years of art here. This includes an exhibit dedicated to King Tutankhamun’s golden treasures and jewelry. They were stored in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in 1922 when his tomb was excavated! The tour ends with a return transfer to your hotel.
