The Waitakere Ranges are a stunning example of natural beauty where the thriving rainforest, exquisite fauna, and black sand beaches all come together. Comprising 250km of walking trails, these ranges are a great way to go exploring while surrounded by pristine scenery. Truly a treasure, this region is extremely rich in terms of its biodiversity, and on this tour, you will get to experience it all.
Since hotel pick-up and drop-off are included in your ticket, you can do away with the hassle of arranging for transportation and only focus on having an amazing time. Enjoy an added lunch and complimentary snacks and water to help keep you energized for the walk. As you go along the trail with your guide, you will have ample opportunity to learn about the plants native to this area, special plants that are used by the Māori, and also see the famous black sand beaches.
