As you set off on a scenic river cruise at Kilim Geoforest Park, marvel at the colorful flora and fauna around you. Majestic raptors like brahmini kites and large white-bellied sea eagles often make an appearance. Your guide will help you point them out while eagle-watching. Also keep an eye out for mud crabs, monitor lizards, squirrels, and monkeys. Stop at mysterious caves along the way and take a peek inside.
This park, located on the east of Langkawi, is home to a spectacular mix of coastal karst and mangrove ecosystems. Gigantic ancient limestone rocks emerge from the river bed, believed to have been formed around 500 million years ago.
