The Rijkmuseum is one of the largest and most famous museums in the world. It houses a number of highly influential works of art from the Dutch Golden Age, including Rembrandt's The Night Watch and Vermeer's The Milkmaid. During this two-hour tour with a professional guide, you will have the opportunity to explore the cultural significance of these masterpieces in the 17th century.
The museum takes its visitors back in time to rediscover the history of the Netherlands. The 8.000 works of art, spread across 80 different rooms, paint a picture of about 800 years of Dutch history. Don't forget to check out the museum's Gallery of Honor, the room with paintings by great artists like Frans Hals, Jan Steen, Vermeer and Rembrandt or the centuries-old dollhouses.
