Presented by the Druid theatre company, this production is the 20th anniversary of the revival of this darkly morbid comedy by Martin McDonagh. This Tony Award play is set in the gloomy backwaters of Leenane, where 40-year-old spinster Maureen Folan exists within a toxic relationship with her mother. In the midst of their verbal sparring and torrents of spite, Maureen chances upon a glimmer of romance. The consequences that follow are as comic as they are terrifying.
