Your Experience
After getting picked up from your hotels, you will head to the Ming Tomb at Dingling, a historical site of 500 years worth of imperial splendor. Being the largest of 13 Ming Dynasty Tombs, this one is known for holding the burial grounds of Emperor Yongle and his Empress Xu. Wander around and delve into the brilliant culture and long history of this tomb as your expert English-speaking tour guide gives you informative tidbits about this historic ground.
You’ll then head to the Jade Factory, where you’ll admire traditional Chinese craftsmanship as well as exquisite art pieces and carvings. Enjoy a delectable lunch next, of traditional Chinese cuisine, before heading to the Badaling Great Wall! Venture along the winding pathways of this natural wonder of the world and take in its watchtowers and fortresses for a scenic experience. On your way back to Beijing, you will participate in an authentic Chinese tea ceremony while learning about its cultural relevance from your guide.
