Make your way to Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens, home to Australia’s oldest and most popular hedge maze, a lovely circular rose maze, and the flowering Lavender Labyrinth that blooms all-year-round. Try your luck in the 3-meter high maze, with the promise of escape at every corner. It’s likely that you will end up getting lost on purpose, just to savor the exquisite scent of the gardens! If you have children with you, they will love searching high and low for the resident gnomes, who are hidden throughout the gardens. Later, when you’ve worked up an appetite, head to the licensed café that features Ashcombe's harvested lavender in a variety of menu items, all prepared on-site. Think lavender scones, lavender ice-cream, and lavender tea blends (green, chamomile, and black).

Getting There
- There is no direct public transport to Ashcombe Maze. From Melbourne CBD, you will need to take the train to Frankston Station and catch a Route 782 bus with Peninsula Buslines. Make sure you catch a bus that goes all the way to Flinders and does not terminate at Balnarring. Get off at Shoreham Rd and walk 1 km walk to Ashcombe Maze
