In a stunning, one-of-a-kind visual production, legendary Las Vegas show-maker, Franco Dragone offers a unique perspective on the aquatic theatre concept with the largest water-show ever held at The City of Dreams in Macau. The 2000-seat theatre offers a 270-degree view of the spectacle told through live music and action, rather than words. The House of Dancing Waters is undoubtedly a treat with its wizardry of water combining theatre, dance, motorcycles, acrobatics, aerial artistry, and state-of-the-art displays of water imagery. The show took five years to pull together with a staggering cost of $250 million. Drawing inspiration from Chinese elements, the production is a seamless fluctuation between dry and wet scenes (the aquatic pool can convert into solid floor in less than a minute). With a performance pool capable of holding up to 3.7 million gallons - equivalent to five Olympic sized pools- water is most certainly the star of the show. Not only do the stunts make you question reality, but the technical magic of the show alone can leave you wondering how exactly they pulled it off!

The show is brought to life by 90 international performance artists who are professionals divers and gymnasts trained to partake in death-defying dives, all nimble and agile in this fantastic show of incredible proportions.

The Story

The story follows a fisherman on the coast of Coloane, journeying on his boat when suddenly he gets sucked into a whirlpool, pulling him into a world straight out of a storybook. A classic story of good-defeats-evil, the fisherman engages with the lone survivor of a shipwreck and joins him in his quest to defeat the Dark Queen who has mercilessly thrown a beautiful Princess into a cage. With the fisherman’s help, the survivor rescues the Princess and together defeat the Dark Queen in this epic saga that remains with the heart long afterward.
