The gaudy architecture of the galleries within the Vatican museums was captivating, but I would say that this is not a 1-day type of tour.

The Vatican tour is a must. Not only do you get a ton of information from the excellent guide, but you bypass the horrendous queues. The Vatican is just simply amazing, but very very busy. One option I would really consider next time is the tour before it opens to the general public.

Our guide, David’s B. Was very good. He entertained and educated us on the Vatican and all the artifacts. He was passionate about the art and the history and the Church. Also, the meeting place was easy to find and well organized - even in the rain.
