We booked 8:30 entry and that is when we entered. Worth the $$ not to have to wait in line! Recommend the audio guide. Written explanations are nice but audio really added to experience. Nice restrooms

The exhibit made my visit memorable. We did not get a guide, it was total mayhem that day with huge crowds. It was a holiday and spring break. But it was an amazing experience to see the exhibit.

We arrived early and guide was able to get us in an earlier time slot. He was very polite and helpful. Made a great difference being able to ski the line and go straight into the gallery. Worth every cent

The tour staff was easy to find and very helpful. The guide for the Uffizi tour was very enlightening and offered valuable context for each piece of art. Easy access to those wonderful galleries.

Art, History & More

Museum Halls You Shouldn't Miss

The Hall of the Prisoners, a special memoir dedicated to the unfinished works of Michelangelo houses the 4 sculptures, Atlas, Bearded Slave, Awakening Slave and Young Slave. The most famous hall in the Accademia, The Tribune houses the legendary ‘David’ by Michelangelo. Placed in the centre under a bright skylight, the halo-like dome is a spectacular sight capable of reducing the mightiest individuals to mere spectators.

Venture into the world of rhythm and music as you discover the surreal Grand Ducal Collection of over 50 musical instruments inside the Museum of Musical Instruments. Explore the collection of string, wind and harpsichord instruments on display including the piano by Bartolomeo Cristofori and the tenor viola by Antonio Stradivari.
