When two strangers meet on a subway platform, the trajectories of their lives are radically altered. The man named White believes that everything, regardless of its value or resilience, eventually fades into an unfathomable abyss of darkness and death from which there is no return. Black, on the other hand, has a fundamentally different conception of the world. He believes that there is a God above and that all beings were created with a grand purpose. Their conversation soon delves deep into the depths of existentialism, humanism, and religion. Will Black be able to stop White from committing suicide and throwing away his life? Can faith save a person who does not wish to be saved?

Directed by Terry Johnson, Olivier and Tony-award winning director of critically acclaimed shows such as La Cage aux Folles and The Graduate, The Sunset Limited is a riveting tribute to McCarthy’s award-winning play. British star Gary Beadle of Operation Good Guys fame will feature alongside Helen Hayes Award-nominee Jasper Britton, who will play the role of White.
