Florence in a Day: City Centre Walking Tour with Accademia & Uffizi Gallery Tickets

The guide was excellent. She showed a mastery of the subject and a very interesting way of exposing. The only detail is that on the tour we were accompanied by two families with children and the guide was more attentive than the parents themselves, this diverted the attention of the tour guide to the care of children. My opinion is that there should be a minimum age or a special tour for children.

The morning guide, Paulina, was great at explaining the history of Florence, pointing out architectural features that developed for practical reasons. The afternoon guide was excellent in explaining symbolism and thematic concepts in the paintings we saw at the Uffizi gallery. Infused with humor and attentive care of our group, her guidance into the masterpieces was delivered well and effectively. She clearly has done considerable research!

Our guide was so, so, good. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and seemed genuinely interested in sharing the history of Florence. My favorite part was the walk around the city and the ease of gaining entry into the museums.
