Prado Museum Tickets

It is much better to buy tickets online, you save the huge queues and above all, you have more time to enjoy the museum. The guides are good but I prefer to go on my own. It is a very good place to enjoy history and culture in general.

Great art is the language of the artists minds expressed in a way that we comprehend our reality through our own eyes. The Prodo Museum did not dissapoint.

Was totally fine. A few points for improvement: When you have checked in online, it is nice to know where the entrance is (to the left of the museum). You can easily add a photo. You can do the same at the guide's meeting point. Now we were waiting in line to the right of the building. Wouldn't have been necessary. Why isn't it possible to book the audio tour of the Prado museum itself at the same time?

I wish I had paid for an audio guide. Museum is great but overwhelming for a first time visitor. A map with the highlights marked would be helpful.

My audio digital tour file didn't work since there was no signal. I needed to read every painting. Other than that it was beautiful and fun.

My wife and I had great pleasure visiting the permanent exhibitions of the museum, and also met the young talented artist Jacobo Alcalde Gibert.

My visits are usually pleasant however, this time around we had to wait by an entrance for almost an hour in the sun without any communication because we (over 100 people) were sent to the group entrance. I understand security and only having one machine, but there were multiple entrances and they had us all in the sun without communication. It was too crowded, more than I've ever experienced and it didn't allow for an enjoyable museum visit.

I didn't wait even for a minute - almost felt guilty when hundreds of people were there waiting in line. I will always buy my tickets from you, guys. And Prado is always amazing in and on itself

The signs outside wern't very clear (we had pre booked) but the staff outside were extremely helpful. The art collection is AWESOME!

It was a visit that we really wanted to do, it is a museum with unique works, such as The Garden of Bosch, or the Naked Maja. We could not take pictures inside the museum because the rules do not allow it, but ideal to spend a great day in the capital.

See some amazing pictures The entry process is vey confusing. Web site sells you "skip the que" tickets but this is just for the ticket office and you still need to join the 3 mile long security que... when you get near the door, it is clear that there are different rules for different people with people pushing and shoving to get to the front. Once inside it is a great experience...

Getting there, we avoided the major lines to get into the museum. The app was OK to use… The only thing I would change is that you could not expand the view to See where you were in the museum.

Great overview map with the most important exhibits, unfortunately I had to queue for an hour despite having bought a ticket in advance. In addition, many pictures are not allowed to be photographed and the supervisors are very strict about this

Waiting for 1h in the line with bought tikets as per instructions of the museum personnel but then later asked when we arrived ar the entrance why did we stay in line? It was pretty memorable, funny actually. It was a family break with kids so no real harm. 😀 The museum was enjoyable, art pieces worth seeing. Didn't see them all in one go, so worth returning. Thank you!

Pleasure was greatest ever , becouse it was the first museum we had visit ever ! Paintings are realy memorable ! Vibe was absolutely fantastic !

Easy to book. Glad you are seeking continuous improvement feedback data. Collection since 1819 impressive. Spanish, Belgian, French artists most admired. Collection of sculptures are world class exquisite. A docent stopped us to survey us in person. He was very polite and professional. Overall a wonderful visit!

Kindness, organization and courtesy. Traveling with an infant I did not have to wait long and everything was very easy thanks to the staff.

Everything went so smooth from buying the tickets to getting in to the museum. Inside the museum the signs were clear and make our visit easy to navigate.

Perfect tickets for the museum: getting your tickets in advance saves time, even if you have to queue. And the Madrid bus tour is great fun in the sunshine!

By anticipating the purchase of tickets, you avoid the purchase queues, but there is still the queue to access the museum (which is unavoidable but moves faster and is shorter and more orderly). I loved the museum! Inside the audio guide costs 5 euros and helps you with the 1hr, 2hr or 3hr tour depending on the time you choose.
