They should have said that the tickets would be collected inside the Gallery, because we spent a long time trying to find out where to pick them up.

To be able to observe famous sculptures such as the Michael Angelo. Also many other famous sculptures. The instrument room was very interesting and instructive. The video explaining how the molds of the sculptures are reproduced was very interesting and helped me to appreciate the sculptures more.

The guide staff was easy to locate, their purple jackets stood out, amongst the crowds. They were very friendly, when we meet them. The regular line was a mile long, so having quick access to the gallery was very beneficial. Especially, since it was raining when we visited Florence. The gallery itself is isn't huge, but it does have some beautiful pieces there. And seeing the "David" sculpture in person was amazing! Along with other sculptures by Michelangelo. If you historical artifacts, this place is a must stop.

  3. The Tribune: This hall is home to Michelangelo’s David, one of the most remarkable sculptures in Italy. David is surrounded by works of artists like Bronzino, Cecchino Salviati, and Allori, whose style and ideas are said to similar to Michelangelo’s.
  4. Gipsoteca Bartolini: Housing the works of Lorenzo Bartolini, one of the leading professors at the Academy, and Pampaloni, the collection in this hall exhibits the evolution of Florentine art from New-classicism to Romanticism.

Coronation of the Virgin by Jacopo Di Cione

If there ever was a panel painting that you need to see, it is this. The abundant use of the golden color gives the painting a strange radiance. The reason for this is that the painting was commissioned by the magistrates of the Mint.

Slaves by Michelangelo

This is a collection of four unfinished male nudes by Michelangelo. Initially, these statues hit many roadblocks until they were abandoned in an unfinished state. However, it is claimed that the statues were deliberately left in an incomplete state to better represent the effort of the slaves to free themselves from the marble rigidity.
