You avoid long lines. On the downside, sometimes finding the representatives at the meeting points is not so easy.

Yesterday was a very busy and wet day at all the attractions and museums in Florence. Despite running over an hour behind, our host enabled us to get in to Accademia at our originally purchased time. We suspect many people didn't make into the gallery at all due to the lines and time taken to get through security. Once inside, the museum was busy but not like Uffizi busy and we were able to see the exhibits we wanted to see, including the David, in relative ease. Recommend this service and the Accademia museum.

We were on our own visiting the gallery. It was very crowded but we were still able to enjoy the exhibit. The biggest downside was our train from Rome being cancelled by the strike. We contacted Headout about the delay, but they were very unhelpful, essentially telling us we were out of luck. As it was, the crowds delayed our timed entry for everyone, so we made it.

The ticketing and meeting the rep worked fine, but I was not advised about luggage limitations and the rep on site was of no help at all.

It was perfect! The timed entrance allowed us to get into the museum at the allocated time without waiting in line. We were able to enjoy the museum without much of a crowd. It was worth the extra money paid for the tickets.

Museum Halls You Shouldn't Miss

The first hall once you enter the gallery, is the Hall of the Colossus, which houses the stunning marble sculpture of ‘Rape of the Sabines’ by Giambologna. The hall also features paintings by Botticelli, Paolo Uccello, Perugino and many more artists. The Hall of the Prisoners, a special memoir dedicated to the unfinished works of Michelangelo houses the 4 sculptures, Atlas, Bearded Slave, Awakening Slave and Young Slave. The most famous hall in the Accademia, The Tribune houses the legendary ‘David’ by Michelangelo.
