Batu Caves Tours

The guide, I think his name was Sasi, was very informative and entertaining at the same time. Consequently the coach trip went quite quickly. I felt 1.5 hours in the temple was too long, and could have done without the batik shop stop, but otherwise it was very interesting.

My tour guide was very helpful, kind and knowlegeable, connected to all the areas that we travelled to. I learned about the different cultures, history, religions and daily life of the Malaysian people. The tour was diverse in its experiences, as I got to experience the beauty of the Batu caves but also see local craftmenship in clothing and pewter designs. I enjoyed eating my first, fresh coconut too! I would not have been to find and experience these special visits without this tour, as I was travelling on my own. Many, many thanks!

Es war eine tolle Tour, die Sie rund um KL führt, voller Sehenswürdigkeiten, Farben, Geschmäcker und Klänge. Unser Führer Yoga war so aufmerksam und bietet uns zusätzliche kulturelle Einblicke, die die Erfahrung wert sind. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich habe einen tollen halben Tag mit Maran verbracht, der super nett, professionell, freundlich und informativ ist. Schöne kurze Tour der Top-Highlights! Tolle Organisation, obwohl ich in letzter Minute gebucht habe (weniger als 12 Stunden vorher!)

Our driver, Hamish, was very good and definitely looked after us at each stop. We went to the Batu caves first and we weee overwhelmed by the garbage that was everywhere. Hamish explained that there has been a big celebration all weekend with over 1 million people being there the day before. He even showed us photos and we weee so glad we had come the day after. Next stop was to see some monkeys. They were cute but one kind was friendly and the other not so much, so we just looked at them. Next stop was to the fireflies. They served us a freshly made dinner which was all very tasty. We had to wait a bit for the sun to set but as it did so came the thunderstorms. Lots of boats had headed out and when we got in our boat a big crash came and my two friend got out of the boat. I was determined too see the fireflies so we headed out. It started to torrential rain and our driver stoped under the bridge for 10 minutes or so hoping it would let up. It finally did and we headed to a few spots but no fireflies. At first I was sad as I thought they wouldn't be out due to the rain. But the driver changed spots and it was absolutely amazing. There were thousands and it was so beautiful. I was so glad I had stayed on the boat. Even though we were all soaked it was worth it. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone going to Kuala Lumpur. Thanks Headout and Hamish. It was amazing.
