Kew Gardens

Simply put, Kew Gardens is the world's largest collection of living plants. Listed as a World Heritage Site in 2003, the garden houses plants from more than 30,000 species. Situated in 121 hectares of stunning gardens and 6 magnificent botanical glasshouses, Kew Gardens London is a wonderful day out for everyone and includes seasonal exhibitions and activities.

• Marvel at its living collections that include more than 30,000 different kinds of plants.

• The herbarium, which is one of the largest in the world, has over seven million preserved plant specimens.

• Take a walk on the Treetop Walkway as it takes you among the tree canopy of a woodland glade.

• Set foot on The Sackler Crossing bridge, a granite and bronze structure, which is more of an art form than a bridge connects two sections of the gardens.

• Go on a tour of the garden on a road train accompanied by commentary and multiple stops.

• Get a glimpse of the Oriental building, including the Great Pagoda built in 1762.

The gates to Kew Garden open at 10:00 AM every day. During the winter, the gates close at 4:15 PM and 5:30 PM on other days of the week.
