From there you can take the Strada Statale 222 Chiantigiana and head to Strada di Marciano, from where you can Viale Vittorio Veneto to Via dei Termini to reach the city. The journey only takes 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • Pisa: From Florence take the E35 and head to A11 exit Limite and stay on A11 until you reach SS1. Follow SS1 to reach Pisa. This is the fastest and smoothest route for a Florence to Pisa day trip at only an hour and 30 minutes.
  • Cinque Terre: Take the E35 and head on to A11 from Florence. Take the E76 from there and follow the lane until you get back to A11. Take the E80 from there and to SS1, and SP38 to get from Florence to Cinque Terre. The journey on this route will not take more than an hour and 40 minutes
  • Rome: The route from Florence to Rome is fairly simple but long. Follow the E35 from Florence to the SS4 lane. Follow the same lane to get to the city center. This is the easiest and fastest route from Florence to Rome. The journey by road through this route takes around 3 hours.
