About The Theatre<\/a>Seating Plan<\/a><\/p>\n

London County Hall, more commonly known as County Hall, is a business and entertainment venue located on the south bank of River Thames. Originally functioning as the headquarters of the London County Council, County Hall now houses a variety of attractions, such as Namco Arcade Station, London Sea Life Aquarium and London Dungeon. Also housed within the venue is a performance space that hosts West End musicals and plays.<\/p>\n

The London County Hall was constructed in 1922, with the work having started more than a decade back. The building was designed by architect Ralph Knott and officially opened on 17 July 1922 by King George V and Queen Mary. The primary building features Portland stone in an Edwardian Baroque style. There was additional construction work that was undertaken in 1936, 1939, and 1974 to create the North Block, South Block, and Island Block respectively.<\/p>\n

The performance space, also called The Chamber, opened in 2015 under the management of Merlin Entertainments and has since hosted a couple of great shows that took full advantage of its unique structure. The Chamber was originally used as a council chamber for debates but has been brought back to the spotlight with a spirited production of Witness for the Prosecution. Section Accessibility<\/h3>\n

Access From Theatre Foyer To Seat<\/b>: There are 33 steps to the galleries seating section from the main Chamber door which is situated at row B. Please note Row F of the stalls section is the only row which has step-free access. Also, all steps in the galleries section are narrow.<\/p>\n

Level Access: <\/b>: There is a lift available from the street level to the foyer and another lift from the foyer which leads to the stalls section only. Please note that there is no lift to the galleries section. These seats can be only accessed via stairs.<\/p>\n

Available Facilities<\/h3>\n

Wheelchair<\/b>:The London County Hall is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair-friendly seats are available in row F of the stalls.<\/p>\n

Restroom<\/b>: Restrooms are available in the courtroom level. There are no restrooms available on the Galleries level.<\/p>\n

Bar<\/b>: There are bars available at the London County Hall. The bars serve wine, prosecco, gin, spirits, and soft drinks.<\/p>\n

Assistive Listening System<\/b>: For people who are hard of hearing, there are hearing loops available for all the seats in the stalls. Please note that these hearing loops might not work for seats in the north or south gallery.<\/p>\n
