The Theatre Royal Haymarket London is a popular West End theatre located at the Haymarket in Westminster. Also called the Haymarket Theatre or the Little Theatre, this West End house\u2019s origins can be traced back all the way to 1720. Officially the third oldest playhouse to still be active, Theatre Royal Haymarket has seen a lot of ownership changes and modifications. Being one of the oldest theatres in London, the Haymarket has a special role in bringing West End and musical theatre to the forefront. The theatre is a Grade 1 listed building and comes with a seating capacity of 888 and is presently owned by the Crown Estate.<\/p>\n

With more than two century\u2019s worth of experience in the West End business, the Theatre Royal Haymarket has hosted innumerable shows, both musicals and plays over the years. Stalls<\/b>: The stalls section can be accessed via 30 stems from the foyer. You can also reach the stalls with an accessible entrance located at the front of the building. This entrance connects to the auditorium and to two wheelchair spaces at the end of the stalls section. Please note that wheelchair transfers are available to any aisle seat.<\/p>\n

Royal Circle<\/b>: This section can be reached via 24 steps from the main foyer.<\/p>\n

Upper Circle<\/b>: The upper circle can be reached via 57 steps from the main foyer.<\/p>\n

Gallery<\/b>: The gallery seating section can be accessed via 60+ steps from the foyer, and there are highlighted steps and handrails in place on either side for your convenience.<\/p>\n

Available Facilities<\/h3>\n

Wheelchair<\/b>: Wheelchair access can be done through the side doors of the theatre at the front of the building. The exit is located at the doors either side of the foyer on the Haymarket. A couple of wheelchair spaces are available at the rear end of the auditorium.<\/p>\n

Restroom<\/b>: Toilets for men and women are located in the stalls, royal circle, and grand circle sections. Patrons seated in the gallery will have to access toilets located in the grand circle section. There\u2019s one adapted toilet available at end of the stalls section next to the accessible entrance.<\/p>\n

Bar<\/b>: Each section, barring the gallery, has a bar that can be accessed by the patrons. The stalls bar can be accessed by climbing down 14 steps down while the royal circle bar is situated on the same level as the seating. There are 3 steps up from the upper circle to the bar and this bar serves patrons seated in both the upper circle and the gallery.<\/p>\n

Assistive Listening System<\/b>: If you need an Infrared system with headsets, please collect them from the front of the house deck. A small deposit fee is charged and refunded at the end of the show.<\/p>\n
