In their conversation, to make himself seem important and worthy, the miller lies and tells the King that he has a daughter who can spin straw into gold. The King, obviously very enticed by the idea, demands that the miller send his daughter to the castle so he can see for himself and put to test the crazy art that the miller claims his daughter can do.<\/p>\n<p>As soon as the poor girl enters the castle, His Majesty locks in her dungeon, laden with straw, and demands to see the room filled with gold the next morning. If she fails, death awaits her. The girl, who has not the faintest idea how to turn straw into gold finds herself in a deadly dilemma. How is she going to withstand this? Will she cut a deal with the devil?
